    CHARLES E. WICHMAN
    Charles E. Wichman, 58, Seneca, died Tuesday, August 4, 1981, at a Seneca
    hospital. He had cancer.

    He was born December 23, 1922, south of Seneca, the son of Ben J. and Mary A. Stuke Wichman. He attended Diamond Grade School south of Seneca and Sts. Peter and Paul School at Seneca.

    Mr. Wichman farmed south of Seneca until 1970, when he moved to a farm west of Seneca. He also helped maintain Nemaha County Nursing Home until the home was closed in 1976. He moved to Seneca in 1976, and worked at Nemaha County landfill east of Seneca.

    He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Seneca.

    He was married to Grace Honeyman November 18, 1943, at Seneca. She survives.

    Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Glenda Jackson, Topeka, and Mrs. Joan Lierz, Sabetha; two sons, Kenneth Wichman, Rossville, and Richard Wichman, Lawrence; three sisters, Mrs. Delores Hook, Northglenn, Colo., Mrs. Alda Saunders, Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Geraldine Woltkamp, Olathe; a brother, Cletus Wichman, Holton; and 12 grandchildren.

    Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Seneca. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lauer Funeral Home at Seneca.
