    Frances Williams

    Mrs. George H. Williams, passed away January 31st, at the Hibbing, Minn., hospital at the age of 80. Mrs. Williams, was an early day settler of this community, coming here in 1881 from Checko-Slovaka [sic] with her parents. She left here about 50 years ago. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Jas. Cunningham of Topeka and Tillie Hoch of Wilson, Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Martinek, Rossville and two brothers, Frank and Joe Simecka of Delia.

    Funeral services were held at the Kewatin, Minn., Catholic church last Monday, Feb. 2.
