Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, for Mrs. Ina M. Williams, 95, Rossville, who died Friday, May 14, 1982, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born May 10, 1887, at Corning, the daughter of Jay and Betsy A. Thompson Johnson. She lived in the Westmoreland-Olsburg area from 1904 until the early 1950s, when she moved to the Rossville-Willard area.
Mrs. Williams was a farmer’s wife.
She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion at Rossville.
She married Ira T. Williams April 20, 1904, at Manhattan. He died March 18, 1966.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Becker, Grove, Okla.; a son, Ira Williams, Junction City; a brother, Clayton Johnson, Grand Junction, Ore.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. The family met with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 at Rossville.
