    Dorothy M. Willits
    Dorothy May Willits, 90, McLouth, died Saturday, May 13, 2000 at a Lawrence retirement home.

    She was born March 29,1910, in McLouth, to Michael and Emily Lobb Martin, and spent most of her life in the McLouth community.

    She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Senior Citizens in McLouth and a 50-year member of the Daylight. Circle Club in McLouth.

    She married John Franklin Willits August 28,1928, in Platte City, MO. He died October 22,1986. A son, Jack Willits, died July 9,1997. Two grandchildren and a great-grandchild also preceded her in death.

    Survivors include three sons, Allan Willits and Kenneth Willits, both in McLouth, and Don Willits, Rossville; a daughter, Shirley Thiry, Lawrence; two sisters, Hazel Yost and Virginia Hermann, both in Perry; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and a great- great-grandchild.

    Relatives and friends will meet at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday (this evening). Her service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in McLouth. Burial will be in the McLouth Cemetery.
