  Obituary- Willits, Dorothy Dorothy M. Willits Dorothy May Willits, 90, McLouth, died Saturday, May 13, 2000 at a Lawrence retirement home. She was born March 29,1910, in McLouth, to Michael and Emily Lobb Martin, and spent most of her life in the McLouth community. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Senior Citizens in McLouth and a 50-year member of the Daylight. Circle Club in McLouth. She married John Franklin Willits August 28,1928, in Platte City, MO. He died October 22,1986. A son, Jack Willits, died July 9,1997. Two grandchildren and a great-grandchild also preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Allan Willits and Kenneth Willits, both in McLouth, and Don Willits, Rossville; a daughter, Shirley Thiry, Lawrence; two sisters, Hazel Yost and Virginia Hermann, both in Perry; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and a great- great-grandchild. Relatives and friends will meet at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday (this evening). Her service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in McLouth. Burial will be in the McLouth Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in McLouth 66054.
