| Obituary- Wilson, O'Neil ‘Smokey’ Wilson
O’Neil James “Smokey” Wilson, 43, Route 2, Mayetta, died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital where he was admitted Tuesday. He had an abdominal ailment.
He was born Dec. 20, 1933, at Silver Lake. He was a farm laborer and had lived in Mayetta about 20 years.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Delia.
He was married Aug. 23,1957, to Mable C. Smith at Emporia. She survives, at the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Leslee Wilson of the home; his mother, Mrs. Frannie Bradley, Saginaw, Mich.; three brothers, Ernest Bradley, Jimmie Bradley and Luther C. Bradley, all of Sagninaw; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Hysten, 4209 Virginia Court, and Carrie May Bradley, Saginaw.
Services will at 2 p.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery.
