They farmed near Topeka for thirty years and in the Delia community for the past 20 years. The Wulfkuhles have 14 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

  Obituary- Wulfkuhle, Mary Mary Lucile Wulfkuhle Mary Lucile Wulfkuhle, 92, Topeka, died Friday, Aug. 18,1995, at a Topeka nursing home. Mrs. Wulfkuhle and her husband farmed east of Topeka until 1957 when, they moved near Delia where they farmed until 1972. She was born May 1, 1903, near Topeka, the daughter of August and Laura Schaefer Bahnmaier. She was graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia. Mrs. Wulfkuhle was a member of Delia United Presbyterian Church and the United Presbyterian Women. She was a charter member of the Delia Up and Atom Extension Homemakers Unit. She also had been a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church in Topeka and she had served as a 4-H leader and a Benham Grade School school board member. She married Harvey T. Wulfkuhle on Nov. 24,1927, in Topeka. He died Aug. 26, 1986. Survivors include three daughters, Laura Kimbal, Stull, Lois D. Lister and Annette Payne, both of Topeka; a son, Duane Wulfkuhle, Topeka; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery east of Topeka. Mrs. Wulfkuhle will lie in state after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
