    Mr. and Mrs. Ray Winkler will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 13. A dinner will be given in their honor by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Houch [sic Houck], Delia; and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hodges; and their four grandchildren.

    Ray Winkler and Virginia Shaw were married June 13, 1938 in Glendale, Calif. Mr. Winkler retired from the Mobil Oil Co., in 1976.

    Ray F. Winkler
    Ray F. Winkler, 78, Topeka, died Monday, Jan. 28, 1991, at a local nursing home.

    Mr. Winkler worked 37 years for Mobile Oil Pipeline production division before he retired.

    He was born Oct. 29, 1912, near Alma, the son of Theodore and Mary Sharri Winkler. He attended Topeka High School and was graduated from Washburn University in 1936.

    Mr. Winkler was a member of the Orient Lodge No. 51 A.F&A.M. and First United Methodist Church in Topeka.

    He was married to Virginia Shaw June 13, 1938, at Glendale, Calif. She survives.

    Other survivors include two daughters, Linda Houck, Delia, and Donna Hodges, Topeka; a sister, Hazel Voigt, Topeka; and four grandchildren.

    Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka/Shawnee County Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association, P.O. Box 251, Topeka, 66601, or the charity of the donor's choice.
