    The children of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey T. Wulfkuhle will honor them with a golden wedding anniversary reception from 2:00 to 4:00 Sunday, November 27, at the Delia Community Hall.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests that no gifts be presented.

    Hosts will be Mr. and Mrs. Warren Kimbal, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lister, Mr. and Mrs. Don Payne, and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wulfkuhle.

    Mr. and Mrs. Wulfkuhle were married Thanksgiving day, November 24, 1927, in her parents' home southeast of Topeka. They farmed near Topeka for thirty years and in the Delia community for the past 20 years.

    The Wulfkuhles have 14 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

    Harvey T. Wulfkuhle
    Harvey T. Wulfkuhle, 84, Topeka, formerly of Delia, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, at a Topeka retirement center.

    Mr. Wulfkuhle was a retired farmer.
    He was born May 30, 1902, at Stull, the son of William C. and Mary Buchhein Wulfkuhle. He lived in the Stull community until 1927, when he moved to Route 1, Topeka, where he lived until 1930. He then moved to Lecompton and in 1934 he moved to Route 4, Topeka, where he lived until 1957, when he moved to Delia. He returned to Topeka in 1980.

    He served on the Jackson County Soil Conservation Board 11 years and the Jackson County Selective Service Board, was a former 4-H leader and past master of Watson Grange, and was a former member of the Farm Home Administration Board and the Delia Lions Club.

    He served as an elder at Bethel Presbyterian Church, at First Presbyterian in Topeka, and at the Delia Presbyterian Church. He was Sunday School superintendent at the Bethel and Delia Presbyterian churches.

    He was married to Mary L. Bahnmaier Nov. 14, 1927, in Topeka. She survives.

    Survivors include a son, Duane Wulfkuhle, Delia; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Kimball, Soldier, Mrs. Lois D. Lister and Mrs. Annette Payne, both of Topeka; two brothers, Arthur Wulfkuhle, Stull, and Siebert Wulfkuhle, Joplin, Mo.; 14 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tibbitts-Griffin-Highland Chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery at 29th and Tecumseh Road. Mr. Wulfkuhle will lie in state at the chapel until 2 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Topeka Presbyterian Manor, 4712 W. 6th, 66606.
