Maurice DeVere Woodruff, 69, Topeka, died Friday, Nov. 8, 1991, at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Mr. Woodruff was born April 13, 1922, in Delia, the son of Aaron Otho and Laura Christina Jensen Woodruff. He lived most of his life in the Topeka and Meriden communities. Mr. Woodruff was a farmer before his retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol A. Ellis, Topeka, and Mary Lou Gooderl, Hoyt; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Hoyt Cemetery, Hoyt. Memorial contributions may be made to the K-State Cancer Research, Center for Basic Cancer Research, Division of Biology, Akert Hall, Manhattan, Kan. 66506.
