The reception hostess was Kathy Maus, Emmett, sister of the groom. The bride is a graduate of Hanston (Kan.) High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. She is a Topeka area crafts maker and vendor. The bridegroom is a graduate of Kaw Area Technical School. He is employed by Famous Brands Distributors in the shipping and receiving department. The bride is the daughter of Iris D. Dixon, Topeka, and the late Leo B. Dixon. Mr. Failer is the son of the late John E. and Francis I. Failer. The couple live in Topeka. A summer honeymoon trip is being planned.
