    JESSIE C. MICK
    ROSSVILLE- Jessie Clay Mick, 30, of Rossville, KS, formerly of Holton, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home surrounded his family; after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 19, 1985 in Onaga, the son of Dennis Adair Mick and Patrick David and Mary Ruth (Noland) Johnson.

    Jessie attended Central School in Holton. He also attended Rossville Grade School and graduated from Rossville High School in 2003. He attended Tare during the day, from age 16 to 26, he then moved to supportive living day service from age 16 to 28. Jessie had worked for Tarc-Ties doing general duties.

    Jessie attended Rossville United Methodist Church. He also was a member of Special Olympics, participating in bowling and track.

    Survivors include his father and mother, Patrick and Mary Johnson of Rossville; a sister, Kelly Mick of Wichita; 2 brothers, Daniel Johnson (Amber) and Jared Johnson (Lannie) both of Topeka; paternal grandparents, Dean and Mary Mick of Holton and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Adair Mick in 2003; maternal grandparents, Boyd and Opal Noland; paternal grandmother, Marie Leach and grandparents, Fred and DeElla Johnson.

    Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Family will greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the chinch. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church special Christmas Fund in memory of Jessie c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
