    Justin G. Fouts, 86, Westmoreland, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Wamego City Hospital.
    He was born July 22, 1929, in Bigelow, the son of Smith L. and Rebecca L. Coffey Fouts. He graduated from Rossville High School in 1947.
    Mr. Fouts had lived in the Topeka Dover area for several years and later moved to the Westmoreland/Onaga area, where he owned and farmed his own ranch.
    He volunteered with a number of youth organizations and supported FFA, 4-H and Boy Scouts, serving as a scout leader. He was a former member of Lane Chapel in Topeka.
    He married Willa Geraldine Vance on Oct. 4, 1958, in Topeka. She survives.
    Other survivors include a son, Bruce Fouts and wife Roberta, Westmoreland; a daughter, Kimberly Wright and husband Chad, Westmoreland; two sisters, Theodosia Douglas, Topeka, and Rebecca Barber, Shawnee Mission; and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Hannah Fouts. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Marion Boydston, Elizabeth Tolliver, Constance Holliday, Smithena Thomas and Patricia Fouts-Lee; two brothers, Glenn Fouts and Lewis Fouts; and a grandson, Levi Fouts.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Buck’s Grove Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
