Mrs. Vivian Velora French, 91, Topeka, died Sunday, June 12, 1994, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born June 13, 1902, at Great Bend, the daughter of Frank Earl and Olivia Louthan Brown. Mrs. French had lived in Topeka most of her life.
She was a seamstress and sales clerk for several fabric stores, having last been employed by The House of Fabrics before she retired.
Mrs. French was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Topeka.
She was married to Rufus Ketterman in 1920. He died in 1929. She was married to Alfred P. French in 1937. He died in 1959. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Ketterman, in 1990.
Surviving her are a daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Louie Elnicki, Topeka; a daughter-in-law, Margie Ketterman, St. Marys; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka.

Vivian Velora French, 91, Topeka, died Sunday, June 12, 1994, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born June 13, 1902, in Great Bend, the daughter of Frank Earl and Olivia Louthan Brown, and spent most of her life in Topeka. She was a seamstress and sales clerk for fabric stores and worked for the House of Fabrics before she retired.

She was married to Rufus Ketterman in 1920. He died in 1929. She was married to Alfred P. French in 1937. He died in 1959. A son, Robert L. Ketterman, died in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Max-ine Elnicki, Topeka; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. French will lie in state after noon today at the mortuary.
