    Craig Burns Carlson
Craig Burns Carlson, 80, of Topeka and Rossville Health Care died on January 18,2018. Craig was born July 17,1937 in Topeka to John August and Beulah (Brown) Carlson. Craig’s parents, his brother John A. Carlson, Jr. (Jac), and former wife Linda preceded him in death.

In the early 1990’s, after recovering from coronary bypass surgery, Craig worked with mentally-challenged adults in Topeka, an employment which became his labor of love. He was also a proud Topekan, proclaiming “I didn’t always live here, but my soul did.. .and does.”

Craig was briefly married to Arthella Hammar. On August 6,1978 he married Linda May Pederson. They divorced in 2010.

Survivors include sister-in-law Barbara Carlson as well as nephews Allan and David Carlson of Colorado.
