  		Anniversary- Cox, Robert and Agnes 2 Golden Anniversary For Cox Couple Robert and Agnes Cox, Maple Hill, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a summer trip to Branson, MO, where they will vacation and celebrate with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert Cox and Agnes Stum were married February 6,1951, in Topeka. The first few years of their marriage they lived in the Delia and Rossville communities before they moved to Manhattan, where they both retired from Kansas State University. They have lived in Maple Hill for three years. Their two children and spouses are Juanita and Gabriel Escobar, Ft Smith, AR, and Ronald and Susan Cox, Hendersonville, NC. Dewite Seneker officiating. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Cox, Rossville, and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hanna, Silver Lake. The bride wore a gown of white organza. Venise ribbon insertion accented the bodice and cuffs of the bishop sleeves. A flunce edged the skirt. A Juliet headpiece trimmed with matching lace held her veil, and she carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, blue miniature carnations and white daisies with her great-grandmother’s blue batiste handkerchief. Maid of honor was Mrs. Clyde Aubert, St. Marys, and bridesmaids were Marcia Immenschuh and Mrs. Gene Lytle, Rossville. Doug Hanna, Topeka, served his brother as best man, and groomsmen were Gregg Hanna, Topeka, and Gary Hanna, Silver Lake, brothers of the bridegreoom. The bride’s brother, Ron Cox, Rossville, and Clinton Bass, Hutchinson, were ushers. Candles were lighted by David Uhler and William Uhler, Osage City. A church reception followed the ceremony. The bride was graduated from Rossville High School and attended Kaw Area Vocational-Technical School. She is employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Mr. Hanna is a graduate of Silver Lake High School. They will be at home in Long Beach, Calif., where Mr. Hanna is serving with the U.S. Navy.
  		Engagement- Cox, Juanita-Hanna, John 1 Rossville Presbyterian Church will be the setting for the June 9 marriage of Junita Marie Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Cox, Rossville, to John T. Hanna, son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hanna, Silver Lake. The Rev. Dwight Seneker will officiate at the 7 p.m. ceremony. Nuptial music will be provided by Darlene Schmitz, organist. David Uhler and William Uhler, Osage City, will light the candles. Mrs. Clyde Aubert, St. Marys, will be matron of honor and other attendants will be Marcis Immenschuh and Mrs. Gene Lytle, Rossville. Doug Hanna will serve his brother as best man. Groomsmen will be Gary Hanna, Silver Lake, and Greg Hanna. Ron Cox, Rossville, brother of the bride-elect, and Clinton Bass, Hutchinson, will seat the guests. A church reception will follow the ceremony. Mrs. Clinton Bass, Hutchinson, will be at the guest book. Receiving gifts will be Mrs. Donald Horak, Peggy Horak and Cynthia Uhler. Mrs. Roy Jordan, Sherri Stach and June Lundin will serve. Miss Cox was honored Sunday afternoon with a miscellaneous bridal shower given in the home of Mrs. Donald Horak. Co-hostesses were Mrs. Bennie Horak and Peggy Horak.
