    Thora Kay Armstrong
    OVERBROOK, KS - Thora Kay Armstrong, born July 25, 1945, passed away Sunday afternoon April 22, 2007, at Brookside Nursing home in Overbrook, Ks., after a long illness.
    She married Jack Ray Armstrong June 10, 1963 in Valley Falls, Ks. He survives at their home in Overbrook. She is also survived by her mother Mary Lundien and half brother John Lundien.
    Shortly after their marriage she went to work for the Nolin Greenhouse in Valley Falls. Later she worked for Walgreens Drugs in White Lakes Shopping Center and later at the Topeka Truck Plaza at Huntoon & Wanamaker. Before her illness forced her to retire she worked for Sam’s Club in Topeka.
    She and Jack dearly loved to go camping and traveled extensively.
    Thora was a member of Grace Community Church in Overbrook, and had been actively involved for the past several years until her recent confinement to the Brookside Nursing home. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
    A memorial service will be held at Grace Community Church in Overbrook, Ks on Thursday morning at 10:30 am and a private Inurnment will be done at a later date.
    Memorial contributions can be made to the Thora Armstrong memorial fund in care of Grace Community Church, 310 E. 8th Street, Overbrook, Ks. 66524. The family will determine at a later date how the funds will be dispersed.
