    Cole Dyer Arnold

    ROSSVILLE — Cole Dyer Arnold, 17, Rossville, died Wednesday, June 18,2003, at a Topeka hospital from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident near Silver Lake.

    He was born Sept. 20, 1985, in Topeka. He was the son of Ann and Toby McCullough and Richard and Laynie Arnold. He was a life-long Rossville resident and completed his junior year at Rossville High School this spring.

    He had been elected to serve as president of the Student Council at Rossville High School for his senior year as well as president of the National Honor Society during his senior year.

    Mr. Arnold was president of the Rossville High School junior class, a member of the Student Council, FBLA president and he earned letters in football, basketball and golf. He also was a member of the Rossville High School band and he participated in the Native American Junior Golf Association and was a member of Rossville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Youth Group at the church.

    Survivors include his parents, Ann and Toby McCullough, Rossville, and Richard and Laynie Arnold, Edmond, Okla.; a brother, Tegan McCullough, Salina; a sister, Tayler McCullough, Rossville; grandparents, Pete and Joan Dyer, Caney, John and Betty McCullough, Lincoln, Don and Virginia Arnold, Wichita, Mary Arnold, Overland Park, and Jim Harrod, Edmond, Okla.; and a great-grandmother, Lillian Bragg, Lincoln.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cole Dyer Arnold Scholarship Fund, sent in care of Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys, 66536.
