    Virgil Arnold
    Virgil Walker Arnold, 76, Topeka, died Friday, May 15, 1998, at a Topeka hospi¬tal.
    Mr. Arnold was the building superinten-dent at the Mills Building before he retired. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in Germany, France and Hol-land before his discharge in 1944 as a corporal.
    He was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Graham County, the son of David Walker and Grace Melissa Lambert Arnold. He had lived in Willard before moving to Topeka in 1964.
    Mr. Arnold was a member of the Monte Vista Baptist Church, Monte Vista, Colo.
    He married Ernestine Alther Green on Sept. 26, 1946, at Topeka. She survives, of the home.
    Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rossville Cemetery. Mili-tary honors will be conducted by an Army detail from Fort Riley. Mr. Arnold will lie in state from 2 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Parker-Price Mortuary.
