    Minnie Louise Atchison, 87, of De Soto, KS, passed away November 23, 2009 at Hillside Village in De Soto. Graveside inurnment will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, KS. Condolences may be sent to www.brucefuneralhome.com Minnie was born July 27,1922 in Rossville, KS to Charles and Jessie Steffie Parr. She graduated from Rossville High School and attended business school. Minnie married Harold W. Atchison on October 14, 1943 in Rossville. They moved to Topeka where she worked for the Motor Vehicle Department for 30+ years, retiring in 1987 as a supervisor. She loved her work. She moved to De Soto in 2006. Minnie loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, daughter Julia Ann Hansford, sister Bette Bringle and a brother. Minnie is survived by her son Bobby G. Atchison and wife Pat of De Soto; nephews Herman Bringle and wife Peggy of Topeka, and Kerry Bringle and wife Gina of Sugarland, TX; and niece Marsha Bringle; eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

    MINNIE ATCHISON

    Minnie Louise Atchison, 87, of De Soto, passed away Nov. 23, 2009, at Hillside Village in De Soto.

    Graveside inurnment was Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Rossville Cemetery, Rossville. Minnie was born July 27, 1922, in Rossville to Charles and Jessie Steffie Parr. She graduated from Rossville High School and attended business school.

    Minnie married Harold W. Atchison on Oct. 14, 1943, in Rossville. They move to Topeka where she worked for the Motor Vehicle Department for 30-plus years, retiring in 1987 as a supervisor. She loved her work. She move to De Soto in 2006. Minnie loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, daughter Julia Ann Hansford, sister Bette Bringle and a brother. Minnie is survived by her son Bobby G. Atchison and wife Pat of De Soto; nephews Herman Bringle and wife Peggy of Topeka, and Kerry Bringle and wife Gina of Sugarland, Tex.: and niece Marsha Bringle; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
