Mr. Mayer is a graduate of Rossville High School and the Kaw Valley Vocational-Technical School with a degree in drafting. He is employed as a Dental Design Engineer in New York City. On August 22, a short marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Erickson at the Jimmy Lillard American Legion Post 31 in Rossville. Parents of the couple were present. Following the ceremony, a reception and buffet dinner were held for family and friends. The couple left Tuesday for their home in New York City, accompanied by the bride’s parents.
