    Henry and Betty Badura of Rossville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a little trip back to the place where it began 50 years ago. They were married on July 8, 1961 in Rossville. The couple met locally, Henry a Rossville High School graduate and Betty a student at archrival Silver Lake. The couple lived several years in Silver Lake, before moving out to their farm. They have two children, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

    HENRY J. BADURA JR.
    Henry Badura, 71, died Thurs¬day, April 5, 2012, in Topeka, sur¬rounded by his loving family.
    He was born and raised on a farm in Rossville, the son of Henry and Millie Badura.
    Henry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
    He was married to Betty J. Jef¬fries, July 8, 1961.
    He loved farming, which he enjoyed until he retired in 2004. He also worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 31 years as a machinist.
    He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty, his children Bill (Caro¬lyn) and Suzette (Mack), five grand¬children, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Leona Faulk (Delbert), and a brother, Leo Badura (Sue).
    Graveside services were held Monday, April 9, at the Czech-Morovian Cemetery north of Rossville.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Presbyterian Church, RO. Box 177, Rossville, KS 66533.

    Graveside services will be held at 10 am Monday, April 9th at the Czech-Morovian Cemetery north of Rossville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Presby¬terian Church, P.O. Box 177, Rossville, KS 66533. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
