    Mrs. Vivian M. Turner
    ROSSVILLE - Mrs. Vivian M. Turner, 71, Rossville, died Tuesday at a Topeka hospital.

    She was born Feb. 21,1911, at Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Harvey and Bessie Bradley Divine. She moved with her parents to Rossville when she was 8 years old.

    Mrs. Turner and her husband operated restaurants at Rossville and Silver Lake many years.

    She was a member of Rossville United Methodist Church.

    She married Henry Turner Sept. 12, 1942, at Marietta, Ga. He died Jan. 29, 1981.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jackie Strimple, Rossville; a son, James Turner, Denver; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Turner will lie in state from 4 p.m. today until noon Thursday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, and an hour before service time at the church. Friends and relatives will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
