    Edward J. Q. Baker
    Edward Joseph Quirk Baker, 71, Topeka, died Tuesday, December 23, 1997, at a Topeka hospital.
    Mr. Baker was a truck driver and later served as dock foreman for Seymour Foods of Topeka.
    He was born December 1, 1926, in St. Marys, the son of John L. and Ethel D. Ropp Quirk Baker. He was a lifelong Topeka resi¬dent
    Survivors include four sons, Lonnie Baker, Mayetta, Robert Baker, Scranton, Garry Baker and Butch Baker, both of Topeka; two daughters, Sadie Kanatzar, Melvern, and Debbie Zarazua, Topeka; 12 grandchildren; and four great-¬grandchildren.
    Relatives and friends met from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Davidson Funeral Home. His funeral ser¬vice was at 1:00 Monday at the fu¬neral home. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Edward Joseph Quirk Baker Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.

    Edward Joseph Quirk Baker
    Edward Joseph Quirk Baker, 71, Tope¬ka, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, at a Topeka hospital.
    Mr. Baker was a truck driver and later served as dock foreman for Seymour Foods of Topeka.
    He was born Dec. 1, 1926, in St. Marys, the son of John L. and Ethel D. Ropp Quirk Baker. He was a life-long Topeka resident.
    Survivors include four sons, Lonnie Bak¬er, Mayetta, Robert Baker, Scranton, Gar¬ry Baker and Butch Baker, both of Tope¬ka; two daughters, Sadie Kanatzar, Melvern, and Debbie Zarazua, Topeka; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville. Mr. Baker will lie in state after noon Sunday at the
    funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 2 to 3 p.m.
    Contributions may be made to the Ed¬ward Joseph Quirk Baker Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.
