Miss Fern E. Yocum and Lowell B. DeGraff were united in marriage Wednesday, March 8th, at 9 p.m. at the M.E. parsonage in St. Marys, by Rev. J.H. Beadle. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Farley.
Mrs. DeGraff is the youngest daughter of Mrs. Ada Barney of this city and Mr. DeGraff is the eldest son of Mrs. Josephine DeGraff, of this city. Mr. and Mrs. DeGraff will make their home on Orange street in Mrs. J.L. Heslet's property. |

E.M. "PeeWee" DeGraff, 71, Topeka, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at her home. She was born September 7, 1933 in Rossville, Kansas, the daughter of B. Lowell "Jack" and Fern E. Yocum DeGraff.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She went to school in Rossville, Topeka and Portland, Oregon. She was a member of the Citizen Band Pottawatomie of Oklahoma.
PeeWee owned and operated a pet boutique in Portland OR. She moved back to Topeka upon retirement.
PeeWee is survived by a brother, Jay DeGraff and wife, Beverly Topeka; a niece, Rene DeGraff, great niece, Shawnte DeGraff and great nephew, Jeremy Allman all of Topeka; a nephew, Sean DeGraff, and wife Marlee of Tonganoxie, KS.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery.
Ethel will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
