Banta-Bonjour
The marriage of Miss Helen Louise Banta, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Banta, and Mr. Lester Bonjour, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Bonjour of Onaga, was quietly solemnized September 7, at 2:30 p.m. at Frankfort, Kansas.
The pretty bride, who was unattended, was gowned in white crepe dechine with matching accessories.
She is a graduate of Delia high school. Mr. Bonjour attended Onaga High School.
The young couple have a large circle of friends. The wedding was followed by a reception at the Bonjour home. Mr. and Mrs. Bonjour are at home on a farm near Onaga. |

| Obituary- Bonjour, Lester Lester Bonjour
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Fu¬neral Home for Lester M. Bon¬jour, 64, 2408 Clay, who died Saturday night in a Topeka hos¬pital where he was admitted several hours earlier the same day. He apparently had a heart attack.
He was born Sept. 23, 1910, at Onaga and lived in Topeka since 1951. He owned and oper¬ated the Bonjour Security Serv¬ice.
He was a member of Home Lodge No. 89, AF&AM, at Centralia, Scottish Rite bodies in Topeka, and Topeka Chapter No. 462, Order of Eastern Star.
He was married to Helen Banta in 1933. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Marvin Bonjour, 1501 High; his father, Jasper Bon¬jour, 1835 Mission; a brother, Melvin Bonjour, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Sophia Armstrong, Topeka; and five grandchildren.
Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum.
