• Documents		Obituary- Aubert, James 1 James Marvin Aubert ST. MARYS- James Marvin Aubert, 82, St. Marys, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at his home. He was born May 14, 1927 on a farm near St. Marys, the son of Joseph E. and Alice F. Hale Aubert. He had lived in the St. Marys community his whole life. Mr. Aubert worked at Topeka State Hospital from 1952 until 1988. He dearly loved his family, cows and calves. Jim was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys and also was a life member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 657. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles, two brothers, four sisters and three grandchildren. On April 12, 1948 he was united in marriage to Henrietta Hesse at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newbury. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his children, Clyde (Marlene) Aubert, Marvin (Betty) Aubert, Fred (Ann) Aubert, Alice (Jerry) Bertels all of St. Marys, Karen (Tom) Johnson and John (Anita) Aubert all of j Emmett; Lucille (Ron) Hines, Chapman, Mary Jean (Dennis) Kuehler, St. George, Mary Jane (Don) Akin and Charles deceased (Jackie) Aubert, Silver Lake, Louise (Phillip) Schutter, Alma, Phyllis (Jesse) Ortega, Havensville and Delores (Karl) Sauvage, Onaga; 37 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 12, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Mr. Aubert will lie in state from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Piper Funeral Home and after 5:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where there will be a prayer vigil/rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. They have 32 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. James Aubert and Henrietta Hesse were married April 12,1948, in the Sacred Heart Church, Newbury, Paxico.
