He was a member of the Rossville Methodist church since Aug. 6, 1905. Mr. Hopkins had an abiding love of his community and his neighbors in Rossville. He loved to help other people, and anyone who knew him came to depend upon him for advice and counsel. He was always ready to extend a helping hand to those who needed it, and he set an example of goodness, patience and neighborliness.

Both have been members of the business fraternity of Rossville for several, years, first as employees at the Lewis Mer. Co’s store and later as proprietors of establishments of their own. Mrs. Hopkins who only recently closed her millinery establishment, will have a new stock of fall millinery in a few days on display in the Hopkins store. The Reporter is pleased to extend congratulations and wish Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins much happiness.
