 | Marriage- Binney, Mildred-Berry, Leo Mr. and Mrs. Walter Binney announce the marriage of their daughter, Mildred, to Mr. Leo Berry on August 21, 1927. The ceremony took place in the office of the Immaculate Conception church at St. Marys performed by Rev. Father Schmidt the pastor.
Mrs. Berry is a graduate of the Rossville high school and for the past two terms has taught the Valencia school with great credit to herself and her school training.
Mr. Berry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Berry of St. Marys, and is the popular manager of the Berry Grain Co's. Rossville elevator. |

Mrs. Mildred Berry and Mr. Carl Rupin were married December 18 at the home of her brother, Mr. Lawrence Binney, in Topeka. Rev. Don Jones read the marriage vows in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Binney, the only attendants.
Mr. and Mrs. Rupin returned home this week after a trip to Arizona. |

 | Obituary- Rupin, Mildred Mildred Rupin Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Mildred Rupin died Wednesday morning in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. Born January 29, 1907, at Rossville, Mrs. Rupin had lived all her life here.
She was a member of the Rossville Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the home; two sons, Leo Berry of Rossville and Bob Berry of Lincoln, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren; her mother in-law, Mrs. Alma Rupin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Rossville Methodist Church, the Rev. Don Jones officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Don Berkey, soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Joe Campbell at the organ. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery, Pallbearers were Roll and Parr, Thornton McClain, Howard French, Bill Gentry, George Sullivan and William Hesse.

The time was spent in playing games and dainty refreshments were served. She received presents and wishes of many more birthdays like this one. The guests were: Ayleen Hartzell, Clara Stevens, Dorothy Conkle, Ruth Stanley, Mildred Lillard, Ruth Murray, Naomi Yocum, Opal Lambert and Leona Griswold. |
