• Documents		Obituary- Hoover, Kate Mr. S. F. Hoover of this city and Mr. Wm. Hoover, of Holton drove to Atherton. Mo., Sunday, called by the death of their mother, Mrs. Kate Hoover, who passed away Sunday, morning at 6 o’clock. Mrs. Hoover died at the home of her son Mr. T. A. Hoover, with whom she made her home. Mrs. Hoover had reached the age of 96 years, 3 months and 9 days. She retained her faculties up until her last wakeful moment in life, quietly passing away as she slept. The funeral was held Monday, July 7, at 2 p. m., and the body was interred at Salem church near the city of Atherton. The surviving mem¬bers of her family are five sons: Mr. T. A. Hoover, Atherton, Mo., Mr. H. L. Hoover, living in California, Mr. A. Hoover, Independence, Ks., Mr. W. Hoover, Holton, Mr. S. F. Hoover of Rossville; three daughters: Mrs. Mary Withers, Atherton, Mo., Mrs. Alma Lasswell, Topeka and Mrs. Estella Bledsoe, Strong City, Kansas.
