  Obituary- Jacobson, Debra Debra "Debbie" Jacobson (77) Passes Away Debra Ann Jacobson, 64, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at her home in Maple Hill. Debi was born April 15, 1959, in Topeka, the daughter of Donald and Genevieve (Andrick) Jacobson. Debi was raised in the Rossville community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1977. She attended Kaw Valley Vo-Tech, where she studied Computer Science. Debi worked for USD #501 for many years in the IT department. She later worked at Puffy's Steak and Ice House in Maple Hill several years, and had worked at Rossville Truck and Tractor several years before her retirement. Debi was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Bronaugh on April 18, 2001. She was married to Jeff Bronaugh, they were divorced. She later married Brian Whitwam, they divorced. Survivors include her son, Dalton (Bailee) Whitwam, Park City; her parents, Donald and Genevieve Jacobson, Rossville; two brothers, Tommie (Angela) Jacobson, Lawrence and David (Connie) Jacobson, Topeka; her sister, Robin (Jeff) Lampe, Topeka; nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Caitrin, Lydia, Locke, Emily, Joe, Darby and Samuel; great nieces and nephews, Presley, Emma and Tristan; along with many uncles, aunts and cousins. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Piper Funeral Home, St. Marys. Private burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society or the Maple Hill Senior Center and sent in care Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
