Mrs. Young was a very modest and unassuming woman, possessed of many excellent traits of character, prominent among which were, devotion to her bible, faithfulness to her husband, prudence and diligence in training her children and kindness to her neighbors. Her adornings was of the heart, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. She had no enemies but a host of warm friends. She a husband and four children to mourn her loss. Deceased was a consistent member of the Christian church where funeral services were held by Elder McCoy.
Asleep in Jesus; far from thee, thy kindred and their graves may be.
Soon shall thy voice comfort those now weeping, bidding rejoice all in Jesus sleeping.
