25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Martinek were pleasantly surprised Saturday evening when a group of friends and neighbors came in to help them celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary.
They received many lovely gifts. Among them was a set of silverware from JoAnn and Mary.
The evening was spent visiting and watching television. At a late hour, refreshments of home made ice cream and cake, sandwiches and ice tea were served.
Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Martinek, Mrs. Cecelia Schumaker, Larry and Catherine, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis, Ronnie and Dennie, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dolezilek and Bobby, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Reading, Mr. and Mrs. Luther McClain and Shelley, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cerny and Marcia. Mary and Jo Ann and Vince Martinek.

Agnes Marie White
TERRA LINDA, Calif. — Agnes Marie White, 67, Terra Linda, died Jan. 8, 1998, at her home.
Mrs. White worked for the Marin County, Calif., Independent Journal for 26 years, most recently in the credit department. She earlier had worked in Kansas as a bookkeeper and for the Pomeroy-Gerwick Construction Co. in San Francisco.
She was born May 3,1930, at Rossville, Kan., the daughter of Henry and Regina Ryan Martinek. She was graduated from Rossville High School in 1948.
Mrs. White was a member of St. Isabella’s Catholic Church in Terra Linda.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheree Althausen, Milpitas, Calif.; her father, Henry Martinek, Rossville; a brother, Vince Martinek, Rossville; two sisters, Jo Copeland, Rossville, and Mary Schumaker, St. Mary's, Kan.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 14 at St. Isabella's Catholic Church in Terra Linda. Keaton’s Mortuary at San Rafael was in charge of arrangements.

Agnes Marie White, 67, Terra Linda, CA, died Thursday, January 8,1998, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1930, in Rossville, the daughter of Henry and Regina Ryan Martinek.
She completed high school in Rossville. She worked as a bookkeeper and at other related office occupations in Kansas, then at Pomeroy/Gerwick Construction in San Francisco. She was employed by the “Marin Independent Journal” for 26 years, working most recently in the’ credit department.
She was a member of St, Isabella’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her father, Henry Martinek, Rossville; a daughter, Sheree Althausen, Milpitas, CA; two sisters, Jo Copeland, Rossville, and Mary (Mrs. Larry) Schumaker, St. Marys; a brother, Vince Martinek, Rossville; and seven grandchildren.
Her service was. at St. Isabella’s Church, Terra Linda. Friends and relatives met at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
