WAKEENEY - Cynthia "Cindi" D. Pfannenstiel, 32, WaKenney, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1997, at a Hays hospital.
She was born Nov. 27, 1964, in Jefferson, Mo., the daughter of Jose "Joe" A. and Bonnie Adams Morales. She was graduated from Topeka West High School in 1982 and attended Hays Academy of Hair Design. She moved to WaKeeney from Topeka in 1984.
Mrs. Pfannenstiel was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, the altar society at the church and the Eagles Auxiliary No. 3774, all in WaKeeeney.
She married Calvin J. Pfannenstiel on Jan. 7, 1985, in Denver. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, C.J. Pfannenstiel and Derrick Pfannenstiel, both at home; her mother, Bonnie Adams Pfannenstiel, Wichita, her stepmother, Joyce Morales, Topeka; three brothers, Bobbie Pfannenstiel, Wichita, Anthony "Andy" Morales, San Antonio, and Jeffrey Harrimans, Jackson, Miss.; and three sisters, Lydia "Dee Dee" Thatcher, Antioch, Calif., Chris Pfannenstiel, Goddard, and Kim Hartwich, Rossville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Christ The King Catholic Church at WaKeeney. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Cindi Pfannenstiel Memorial Children's Fund and sent in care of the Schmitt Funeral Home in WaKeeney. |

- From some preliminary research, I chose not to link siblings right now to her memorial since I'm not sure which "family" they go under. Her memorial on findagrave.com also has a very conflicting obituary that lists different people, and I'm not sure it is correct.
