Mrs. Leroy Puckett
Mrs. Violet G. (Cahill) Puckett, 68, of 412 Chester died Monday at a local hospital. She was born at Nevada, Mo., and had been a Topeka resident since 1937, moving here from the Eskridge community.
Mrs. Puckett was a member of the EUB church.
Surviving are her husband, Leroy E. Puckett of the home; three sons, John Cahill of Kingsville, Tex.; Walter Cahill of Milwaukee, Wis.; and Carl Cahill of Sonora, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Miller of Tacoma, Wash.; and Mrs. Chettie Brady of 1239 Kellam; a brother, Walter Moseley of 1006 Monroe; three step-sons, Kenneth L. Puckett, Harry B. Puckett, and Wayne E. Puckett, all of Lawrence' eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wall-Diffenderfer chapel with burial in the Topeka cemetery.
