Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary for Mrs. Floye Ethel Wood, 86, Silver Lake. She died Friday at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Dec. 10. 1896, at Delia,
the daughter of John and Harriet De-Board Murrow. She lived in Shawnee and Jackson counties all her life.
Mrs. Wood was an interior decorator for several companies in Topeka.
She was a former member of Northland Christian Church and member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 58, both at Topeka. She also was a member of First Baptist Church and Loyal Chapter No. 176 of the Order of Eastern Star, both at Silver Lake.
She was married to Ira A. Wood April 6, 1915, at Adrian. He died June 10, 1978. She was preceded in death by two sons, Murel Wood and Wayne Wood.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Garnett Lutz and Mrs. Marjorie Chasier DeBacker, both of Silver Lake, Mrs. Harriet Jones and Mrs. Sally Smith, both of Topeka, Mrs. Vicki Foster, Olathe, and Mrs. Eva Stout, Spring Hill, Fla.; a son, Stephen Wood, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Nellie West, Stanton, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 39 great¬grandchildren; and two great-great¬grandchildren.
Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Silver Lake, 66539, or Northland Christian Church, 3102 N. Topeka Ave., Topeka, 66617.
