Mrs. William Startup and Mr. Scott Easdale were united in marriage by Probate Judge Hayden at the court house in Topeka, Monday Feb. 19.
The bride and groom are old-time residents of this city and have many friends who wish them well. The bride is the widow of William Startup, who died several years ago, and Mr. Easdale belonged to the old time bachelor class of Rossville. |

| Obituary- Easdale, Ella MRS. ELLA EASDALE
Mrs. Ella Easdale, 76, resident of Rossville community for the past fifty years, died Friday night at her home. She was born April 3, 1862, in Logan County, Ill., came to Marion County, Kan., at the age of fourteen, later moving to Rossville. She was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daugh¬ters, Miss Mae Startup, Rossville, and Mrs. Nettie McKeoun [McKeown], Wich¬ita; one son, Cecil Startup, Rossville; one sister, Mrs. Anna Wellingham, of California, and one brother, Will Musick, also of Cali¬fornia.
Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery. The body is lying in state at Peebler’s Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
