Hosts were their children, Dennis and Kathy Sumner, St. Marys; Vern and Janet Sumner and Nancy Fiedler, all of Rossville, and their eight grandchildren. Robert Sumner and Margaret Moore were married June 7, 1947. Mr. Sumner retired after 30 years of service with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Mrs. Sumner retired after 23 years of service with St. Marys Unified School District 321.
  		Anniversary- Sumner, Bob and Margaret 3 Margaret and Bob Sumner Golden Anniversary for Sumner Couple Bob and Margaret Sumner, St. Marys, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 6, with a reception in their honor at the American Legion Building in Rossville, starting at 7:30 p.m. The couple requests no gifts, please. Mr. Sumner retired after working 30 years at Goodyear. Mrs. Sumner retired after 23 years of working for Kaw Valley U.S.D. #321. Hosting the celebration will be their children, Dennie and Kathy Sumner, St. Mary; Vern and Janet Sumner and Nancy Fiedler, Rossville; and their eight grandchildren.
  		Anniversary- Sumner, Bob and Margaret 4 Margaret and Bob Sumner Charles “Bob” and Margaret Sumner, St. Marys, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a future trip. They recently also were honored with a family dinner. Charles Sumner and Margaret Moore were married June 7,1047, in Topeka. They have 3 children, Dennis and Kathy Sumner, Topeka; Vern and Janet Sumner, Rossville; and Nancy Graves, Glendale, Ariz.; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
