She was born Sept. 25, 1923, at Irving, the eldest of three chil¬dren born to Morrison and Myrtle (Whipple) Thomas. She had worked as a secretary of the Santa Fe Offices and State of Kansas. She retired from Super D Drugs. Marjorie had four children: Ben Daniels Jr. and Alva Daniels, both of Lebanon, Mo., Daniel Thomas Daniels of Independence, and Cynthia Daniels of Topeka; three grandchil¬dren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Jan. 17 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment followed in Topeka Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ross¬ville Health & Rehab, 600 East Perry, Rossville, KS 66533.
