They were married at Westmoreland on June 6, 1937. The Timmons have three children — Pauline Conley, Delia; Donald Timmons, Denver, Colo., and Dale Timmons, Topeka. They have eight grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, and one great-grandson.
  		Anniversary- Timmons, Carroll and Cordelia 2 50th Anniversary Celebration for Timmons Couple A 50th wedding anniversary celebration will be held for Carroll and Cordelia Timmons on Sunday, October 11, 1987, at Rossville United Methodist Church, in Rossville, Ks., from 2 to 4 p.m. Friends and relatives are welcome to join in this celebration. Their children — Joe and Pauline Conley, Delia, Don Timmons, Denver, Colo., and Dale and Kay Timmons, Topeka, will be the hosts. The couple requests no gifts.
  		Anniversary- Timmons, Carroll and Cordelia 3 Mr. and Mrs. Carroll R. Timmons. Delia, will be honored with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Carroll R. Timmons and Cordelia Belle Carley were married June 6, 1937 at the Baptist Church Parsonage, Wamego. Mr. Timmons retired from carrying the Topeka State Journal in 1980 but still maintains a Topeka Capital-Journal route at Delia and Rossville. Mrs. Timmons retired from Roy Frey’s Western Wear. Their children are Pauline and Joe Conley, Delia; Donald E. Timmons, Denver; and Dale and Kay Timmons. They also have 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

  Documents » Slide Show		Bridal Shower- Timmons, Pauline Shower honors Mrs. Conley Mrs. Pauline Conley was the honor guest last Saturday evening at a miscellaneous shower given for her by the ladies of the Homebuilders class of the Christian Church. After a series of games the bride went to the gift table and opened her many lovely gifts. Guests present were: Mesdames Pauline Conley, Cordelia Timmons, Bess Conley, Christina Zickefoose, Ethel Viergever, Gladys Viergever, Doris Viergever, Mae Trubey, Rosella Feltner, Anna Lemon, Eva McClain, Betty Crawford, Thora Stadler, Lorene Harth, Maxine Trimble, Winifred Stach, Letha Reser, and Misses Helen Stadler, Janet Harth, Virginia and Marilyn Stach, Rosie Stadler, Sharon and Lillian Reser. Several invited guests were unable to attend because of illness. The party was held at the Harold Reser home.
  		Marriage- Timmons, Pauline-Conley, Joseph Timmons-Conley marriage in Manhattan Pauline Marie Timmons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll R. Timmons of Rossville, became the bride of Joseph Mercer Conley, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Conley, Delia, in a ceremony performed Wednesday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Manhattan Bible College Chapel, Manhattan. The Rev. Ben Duerfeldt read the marriage vows. The bride wore a beige linen suit with beige and white accessories and carried a white Bible with red roses. Elizabeth Getty, the bride’s attendant, wore a blue-gray suit with black accessories. She had a corsage of yellow roses. Burns Hesse, Rossville, was best man. A reception will be held Sunday, March 23, in the Community Center in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Conley. All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p. m. After a wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Delia. The bride is a 1957 graduate of Rossville High School. She has been employed by Stauffer Publications. Mr. Conley is a graduate of Rossville High School and is now engaged in farming near Delia.
  		Anniversary- Conley, Joseph and Pauline To Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary Joe and Pauline Conley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at the Rossville United Methodist Church, 411 Pearl St. in Rossville. Joe Conley and Pauline Timmons were married March 12, 1958, at the Manhattan Christian College Chapel in Manhattan. Hosts will be their children, Patricia and Dennis Peterson, Belvue; James and Vicki Conley, Austin, Colo., and Bill and Tricia Conley, Delia. The couple has nine grandchildren. They request no gifts.
