Mrs. Loma Jamieson, 73, long-time resident of the Rossville community, died at her home Wednesday.
Born March 10, 1871, in Blaine, Pa., she moved to Rossville with her parents when a small child. Her husband, A.B. Jamieson, died in July, 1938. Mrs. Jamieson was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian church.
She is survived by a son, L.R. Jamieson, Mission, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hook, Topeka, and Mrs. Doris Adams, Maple Hill; two brothers, J.R. Wilt, Topeka, and I.B. Wilt, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Binns, Mrs. Fannie Reser, Rossville; and four grandchildren.
The following from Rossville were among the relatives and friends in Topeka Friday afternoon to attend the funeral service of Mrs. Loma Jamieson at Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home: Mr. and Mrs. Gus Kassebaum, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Stumbaugh, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Berry, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dolezilek, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Navarre, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Reid, Mr. and Mrs. Von Bloom, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wilt, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Wilt, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Reser, Mrs. Beulah McIntyre.
Funeral services for Mrs. Loma Jamieson were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clcok at Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home in Topeka. Pall bears [sic] were Joe Navarre, Sidney Stumbaugh, Perry Stumbaugh, Frank Dolezilek, Lon Berry and Homer Reid.
Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery.

Mrs. Loma Jamieson, 73, old resident of Rossville, died Wednesday at her home in Rossville.
Her passing came as a shock to neighbors and friends. Sweeping snow from the yard sidewalk in the afternoon she died from a heart attack. A neighbor, Mrs. Frank Dolezilek, who came out to sweep snow from her porch discovered Mrs. Jamieson lying on the walk and hurriedly sent word to relatives.
She was born March 10, 1871, in Blaine, Pa., and settled in Rossville, with her parents when she was a small child, residing here the remaining days of her life.
She was married in 1893 to A.B. Jamieson, who died in July, 1938.
She united with the Rossville Presbyterian church in her early youth and lived a consistent Christian throughout her life.
She was especially devoted to her family and leaves many friends and loved ones to mourn her loss.
She is survived by a son, L.R. Jamieson, Mission, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hook, Topeka, and Mrs. Doris Adams, Maple Hill; two brothers, J.R. Wilt, Topeka and I.B. Wilt of Rossville, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Binns and Mrs. Fannie Reser, both of Rossville; and by four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home in Topeka.
Burial in Rossville Cemetery.
I.B. Wilt arrived home today called by the death of his sister, Mrs. Loma Jamieson.
Mr. and Mrs. Lance Jamieson and Harriet of Mission, Kansas, were called to Rossville today by the sudden death of his mother, Mrs. Loma Jamieson.
Mr. and Mrs. Lance Jamieson and daughter Harriet returned to their home at Mission Sunday, after a few days stay following the burial of his mother, Mrs. Loma Jamieson.
Card of Thanks- We sincerely thank all friends for assistance and will hold in grateful memory all those offering sympathy and floral offerings in the time our sorrow, the loss of our mother, Loma Jamieson.
