    MRS. RUTH V. AULT
    Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 3, in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery at Wamego for Mrs. Ruth V. Ault, 88, formerly of St. Marys. She died Thursday, May 30, 1985, at a Santa Rosa, Calif., retirement home.
    She was born Oct. 20, 1896, at Laclede, in Pottawatomie County, the daughter of Hugh and Catherine Herther Ap¬plegate. She lived most of her life in the St. Marys community before she moved to California in 1967.
    Mrs. Ault was a member of an
    American Legion Auxiliary unit at Santa Rosa.
    She was married to George Foresman July 23, 1913. He died Feb. 15, 1923. She was married to Dick Ault Sept. 30, 1925. He died Jan. 8, 1967. A daughter, Evelyn Foresman, died Feb. 5, 1923.
    Survivors include one son, Hugh Foresman, Sebastopol, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Foresman Immenschuh, St. Marys, Mrs. Betty Grant, Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. Ruth McCoy, Fulton, Calif., and Mrs. Stella Ault Casper, Englewood, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Jane McCormick, Manhattan; three brothers, Uriah Applegate, Hugh Applegate and August Applegate, all of Wamego; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
    Catholic Chapel Blessing services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eggen and Lance Mortuary in Santa Rosa. Con¬tributions may be made to the Mrs. Ruth V. Ault Memorial Fund to be designated at a later time and left at Verschelden Funeral
