  Obituary- Ziegler, Melba Melba Ruth Ziegler Melba Ruth Ziegler, 82, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Midland Hospice House. She was born October 15, 1921, in Rossville, the daughter of Albert and Rosa Mae Young Bixby. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1939. Mrs. Ziegler, a self-employed beautician, retired at the age of 62. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. On April 22, 1952, she married Peter Ziegler at Assumption Catho¬lic Church in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include a sister, Vernadell Macha, Topeka; and many nieces and nephews. A parish rosary was recited at 4 p.m. Sunday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial was in Mount Cal¬vary Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial donations may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW ' Frazier Circle, Topeka 66606; or Holy Name Catholic Church, 1114 West 10lh, Topeka 66604.
