    Nellie B. Dick

    Nellie B. Dick, 96, Manhattan, formerly of Topeka, died Sunday, April 28, 1996, at a retirement center in Manhattan where she had been since 1992.

    She was born April 22, 1900, in Kansas, the daughter of John and Mary Kerns Carder. She lived near Pauline 34 years before she moved to the Rochester community north of Topeka in 1966.

    She was married to Ralph Dick Sept. 10, 1919, in Perry. He died Sept. 7, 1974. A son, Ralph Edward Dick, died Sept. 4, 1964.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Allman, Manhattan; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

    Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Buster Cemetery northeast of Perry. Mrs. Dick will lie in state after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
