Betty Harris and Lee Conaway were married July 28, 1948, at West Side Christian Church in Topeka. Mr. Conaway is retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 31 years of service. Mrs. Conaway is a homemaker. They have farmed in the Bethel community northwest of Topeka. They request no gifts.
  		Anniversary- Conaway, Lee and Betty 2 Lee and Betty Conaway Lee and Betty Conaway will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on July 27th at Bethel Community Church Fellowship Hall, N.W. Landon & 70th St., Topeka, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 pm. Their children are Nancy J. Overmyer, Daniel & Reene Conaway, Lu Anne & Rod Reser. The Conaways have seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. After 30 years, Lee retired from Goodyear. Betty helped on their farm. They raise Hereford cattle. Betty was the Kansas Hereford Women’s president for five years and also volunteered for Grove 4-H. Friends are invited to attend the celebration. The couple requests no gifts.
