    Mrs. Anna Masat, St. Marys, Dies
    Mrs. Anna C. Masat, 87, St. Marys, died Friday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Jan. 28 for treatment of a heart ailment. She suffered a heart attack Feb. 11.

    She was born August 6, 1881, at Seneca where she spent her early life. She lived in the Delia community many years before she moved to St. Marys in 1942. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at St. Marys.

    She was married to Joseph Masat Jan. 8, 1907, at Seneca. He died Feb. 8, 1941.

    Survivors include a son, Ray Masat, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Sielman, Topeka; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at St. Marys. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.
