Monica Olson
Monica Olson, 91, of Topeka, passed away March 24,
2016 at Midland Care. She was born in Delia, Kansas to Homer and Mary Redmon. Monica grew up in the Emmett, Rossville and Silver Lake communities. She worked for the John Morrell Company and Stauffer Communications.

Monica was united in marriage to James Leonard
Olson on April 5, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her children, Tamara Mentzer and Dennis Olson; brothers, Ed and Lloyd Redmon, of Topeka, Theron, Gene and Billy Redmon of Valley Falls; sister, Anna Lou Lahey of California; two grandchildren, Joely and Troy, and two great-grandchildren, Nick and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Carl, John and Lee Redmon, and sisters, Margaret Ballard and Mary Ann Bryant.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m.
