Janice Corwin
Janice Corwin, 61, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at a Kansas City, MO hospital.
She was a line supervisor at Furr’s Cafeteria from where she retired earlier this year due to health reasons.
She was born September 22, 1936, in Topeka, the daughter of Jacob and Irene Shamberg Lud¬wig. She was a lifelong Topekan.
She was a member of St. Jo¬seph Catholic Church.
She married Elmer Leon Cor¬win on September 13, 1959. They were married for 27 years.
Survivors include two daugh¬ters, Christine Marie Clark, and Charlene Marie Corwin, both of Topeka; two sons, Elmer Leon Corwin II, and George Jacob Cor¬win, both of Topeka; one brother, Raymond Ludwig, Topeka; four sisters, Betty Compton, and Lou¬ise Reese, both of Topeka, Carol Parr, Rossville, and Judy Cockroft, Richland Center, WI, and 10 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial was in Topeka Cemetery. Rosary was recited on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The family received friends following the ro¬sary until 8:00 p.m.
