Obituary- Enyart, Beverly
Beverly Jane Enyart
SHELL KNOB, Mo. Beverly Jane Enyart, 70, Shell Knob, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo. She was born Sept. 1, 1934, in Rossville, Kan., the daughter of Earl E. and Margaret H. Reser Doty. On Aug. 3, 1951, in Huntsville, Ark., she was united in marriage to James L. Jim Enyart, who survives. She also is survived by three sons, Steve Enyart, and his wife, Janet, Lawrence, Kan., Scott Enyart, and his wife, Kim, Roeland Park, Kan., and Stan Enyart, and his wife, Dawn, Robinson, Kan.; two daughters, Vicki Enyart, Washburn, Mo., and Valerie Tollefson, and her husband, Mark, Hiawatha, Kan.; six brothers, Jim Doty, and his wife, Mary, and Rodney Doty, and his wife, Gracie, all of Topeka, Larry Doty, and his wife, Jeannie, Bob Doty, and his wife, Roberta, and Don Doty, and his wife, Jo Ann, all Tecumseh, Kan., and Gary Doty, and his wife, Virginia, St. Marys, Kan.; three sisters, Earleen Constantino, and her husband , Dominic, Beach Park, Ill., Betty Jo Slater, Monte Kay Prentiss and Ann, of Topeka; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and grand dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Margaret Ann. Beverly was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a business woman. She and her husband, Jim, owned and operated Horton Pharmacy from 1964 until 1991. She also owned and operated Care Fair Gift Shop in Horton, Kan. She loved to play bridge, especially at the Lakeview Country Club, where she was a member. She collected angels, enjoyed cooking and bird watching. She was a member of Central Community United Methodist Church in Shell Knob and was an active member of PEO Chapter EE in Horton, Kan. Beverly served as secretary/treasurer for Random Hills Homeowners Association. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel in Topeka, under direction of Fohn Funeral Services, Williamson Chapel, Shell Knob, Mo. The Rev. J immy Treat will conduct the services. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery at Rossville, Kan. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral chapel. Memorials in memory of Beverly may be made to Kids Across America or PEO Scholarship Fund, Chapter EE in Horton, Kan., and mailed to Fohn Funeral Services, P. O. Box 250, Cassville, Mo. 65625.
