Obituary- Cottle, Londie

LONDIE COTTLE
Londie Cottle, 77, passed away at his home Saturday morning at 5 o’clock following a lingering illness.
He was born at West Liberty, Ky., February 15, 1870 and in 1892 come to Rossville. On March 3, 1899 he was united in marriage to Miss Fannie Old field and they had lived in Rossville practically all their married life.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Fannie Cottle; one brother Marion Cottle of Topeka; one sister, Mrs. Linda Ross of Mississippi and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Rossville Presby¬terian church, conducted by Orel Newbrey, pastor of the Rossville Christian church.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Marlin Harth and Mrs. O. S. Boyd. Mrs. Irene Campbell accompanied at the piano.
Pall bearers were, Joe Navarre, Kid White, Dennie Davis, Bill Hesse, Paul Renwan, and Everett Pelfrey.
Burial in Rossville City cemetery.
