Obituary- Trostle, Isaac d.1925

Isaac Trostle
The remains of the late Isaac Trostle, aged 81, who died Sunday, April 12, at the Old Soldiers' home in Leavenworth, were brought to Rossville Wednesday afternoon, April. 15th, for interment in the Rossville cemetery.

The deceased was an early day settler of Rossville township. Following the Civil war, in which he served in Company E, First Regular Pennsylvania Infantry, he came to Kansas. He owned and occupied a farm west of Rossville now owned by the Henry Meyer family.

He left Rossville about thirty-five years ago and resided for years in Topeka before going to the Soldiers home to spend the remaining years of his life.

The body was accompanied to Rossville by members of the Blue Post No. 250, G.A.R. Prayer service at the cemetery was conducted by Rev. G.C. Albin.
